2024 NATIONAL FINALISTS

The three Worthy National Finalists and Runners-Up student mentor teams competing in the 2024 CIRT National Design+ Construction Competition have been announced! Upon receiving a record-tying total of 64 entries from across the country, the preliminary round judges have narrowed the field to the finalists below.
The Worthy National Finalists* will participate in the final presentation round at the Construction Industry Round Table (CIRT) Spring Meeting on Monday afternoon April 29, 2024, at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel, Washington, D.C. The Worthy Finalists will be contending not just for “bragging rights,” but also a top award of $5,000 for the winner.

January 2024 REGISTRATION OPENS March 14 SUBMISSIONS DUE AT MIDNIGHT March 25 PRELIMINARY RESULTS ANNOUNCED April 8 FINALIST HOTEL RESERVATION DUE April 29 FINALIST PRESENTATIONS | Any ACE Mentor Affiliate/Chapter can volunteer to participate in the CIRT National Design & Construction Competition, which uses project challenges adapted and/or modified to accommodate the competition’s parameters. The true goal is to judge the ability of the students to make a reasoned, coherent, well thought out, clear presentations on their team’s design and construction approaches that are realistic and responsive to the project’s objectives within time, budget, constructability constraints, etc. Detailed rules and instructions are in the Competition Information Packet. |
PRIZES | PRESENTATIONS |
CIRT will present prizes for the top three national finalists plus prizes for runner-up entries. In addition, CIRT will provide a logistical/travel expense stipend (approximately $1,000 per team) to apply to costs associated with attending the final round as the Affiliate/Chapter best determines. 1st Place $5,000 2nd Place $3,000 3rd Place $2,000 | Final Presentations will be live-streamed on April 29 beginning at 3:00pm EST. We hope teams will be able to watch the presentations. The event will be recorded and available via this same link. |
